One of the big things that stood out to me about Val and Jonathon's wedding were the speeches about them. Each person who spoke trumpeted about their big hearts, and how caring and thoughtful they are with their friends and family. It was really touching. Val and Jonathan extended their generosity to me and my assistant as well throughout the day. Always making sure we were enjoying ourselves and keeping us fueled with incredible food. Here's some of the day through my eyes. Thanks for making me fit in so effortlessly you guys.

The ceremony was up in beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park

Luv this one

The whole bridal party at Jericho Beach. Chillin, Charging, and Attacking

And now just the ladies

And the men

And here they come

A little innocent touch and tell

And of course for Jonathan, she wasn't even in the line!

Gotta luv Granville Island
I know this place is a photographer's delight, but it's been years since I've shot here and I'd forgotten how overwhelming with opportunity the place can be. There are so many little alleys and angles and colours to make any shoot feel fresh and exciting! These are from the engagement shoot of Jonathan and Val whose wedding is this August. It was still a little chilly in the air but they were both troopers, and photoshop can take out the red noses. Super laid back couple and very easy to work with. We spent about an hour and a half basically just wandering around the nooks and crannies that make up Granville Island. In places with this many options it comes down to where not to shoot as apposed to where to shoot. You could spend the whole day there and not tap out the locations! Thanks for spending the time with me you two, I look forward to August.

Michelle and Eddy’s Wedding in Whistler
This was a first for me; skiing with the couple and their bridal party, on their wedding day. Awesome!!
It was dumping snow and pretty socked in, so not the best for shooting, but it didn't take long to realize that this bridal party was smoking hot on skis. I was quickly out-paced on my tele-skis.
When the weather turned too vicious for the camera, I packed it away and just focused on keeping up! Michelle left early to get her hair done, but Eddy skid almost to closing.
The wedding itself was at http://www.brewcreeklodge.com, just south of Whistler. A beautiful venue, and their ceremony included both north-american and korean traditions. I love a wedding with mid changes of clothes!
I had a really fun time at their wedding, they have an amazing group of fun-loving friends and family that I felt immediately welcomed into.
Thanks you two for the fun day and the great shots!
