One of my Two wheeled passions
All of my friends and most of my clients know that I'm a junkie with road bikes. This is a relatively new passion that started with my time in Ottawa and the Gatineau Park loops.
But before that I'd always been a fan of motorcycle's. When I was first in India at 19 I rented a Royal Enfield for a week touring in the south, and this led up to me buying a Kawasaki KLR 650 enduro and driving it solo down to Honduras and back over 6 months. That trip is still one of my "happy" places I go when I'm drifting off to sleep. Anyways this is to preface my occasional posts about motorcycles... as I'm in the market again for one this summer.
Here's a friend of mine Jaime, on his motard (no this isn't a physically challenged motorcycle, but a off-road bike with smaller street tires; they rip).

Way too styling to be a father of twins!

Check it out, Jones Soda and Brendon Purdy Photography working together (Except that I commissioned them for it, and that anyone and they're baseball team could do this)!
I put these together to send out in packages of 4 to local wedding businesses for marketing. As I'm still relatively new to Vancouver I thought this would be a fun and memorable way to get my name around.
Cool eh?

Outdoor magazine listed the Bowron Lakes Canoe Circuit as "one of the world's 10-best canoe trips".
I can't compare it with the other 10, but to me it was one of the best outdoor trips I've done.
I got into canoe-tripping in Ontario where it's a common summer trip. But there it's relatively rolling hills and calm water. From canoeing in Ontario to canoeing in B.C. the difference is huge...literally!
The Bowron lakes are completely surrounded by snowy peaks and include some steep portages and a dash of white water.
Six of us did the 118 km journey this summer, and it blew us away. We witnessed snow at the beginning, blistering heat by the end, swarms of mossies, and more moose than people. We took our time with 8 days, finished our 10 litres of wine, had time to hone our axe-throwing skills, and even threaded our wall-mart fishing rods.
Anyway enough from me, I hope you enjoy!
