            Nikon Lends

I've been recently accepted to NPS or Nikon's Professional Services and part of the perks are loaner lenses.  Check out these two lenses below.  The one on the right is my 70-200mm f2.8 that I use probably for half of the time my camera's in my hand.  It's a pretty substantial lens with the most useful range for me.  And completely dwarfing it on the left is the 200-400 f4 lens that Nikon lent me for a shoot down in Seattle.  More to come with this killer piece of glass!

            Someday it will be mine...

Victoria and Aaron’s engagement session Granville Island

Things are back in full swing for me now, and the 2 months off with a broken foot is thankfully fading to the background.  However there's definately a "before the accident" and "after the accident" transition.  Victoria and Aaron witnessed a bit of this with our initial engagement booking set to be a couple weeks after the accident.  Coming from Calgary for that weekend I felt terrible having to cancel and hoped we could fit it in later.  It proved not to be a problem with this very gracious and welcoming couple.

Super cute, and so in love, they met up with me and my Nikon at the uber visual Granville Island a few weeks ago.  They're getting married at the Four Seasons next month and I can't wait for their day!  You two are awesome, thanks for the great conversations and the patience to help me limp around the island!
