Pascal and Lynn
I meet a lot of couples throughout the year and many of them I become friends with. The difference with these two is that I was already good friends with both of them. Having the honour of shooting a friend's wedding has many pluses and also different stresses. Being an integral part of capturing their day made it so much more intimate and brought me closer to them as friend's.
These are all from their 20 page wedding album that was designed for them.
(some might know these two as Pablo and Kyla, but they'd be wrong)

A Thruxton in Granville Island
Had the immense pleasure of photographing this classic bike last night at Granville island. It was a beautiful warm night enhanced by this 900cc Triumph Thruxton. Architect David Karpenic own's this gorgeous ride, and it was like working with a professional model. Any angle worked and all I had to think about was the background and lighting. Super technical and enjoyable. Cheers Dave, I envy you.

Pablo’s Bachelor
As bachelor parties go this one was a success! Such a strange tradition, with so many themes! Pablo's friends really are the salt of the earth (I say this cus many of them are mine too), and this whole day was planned without his knowing. This rockin time involved soccer (with Pablo in drag), us dressing up as "Latin Lovers" (yes I'm in here), an open jam night, free-form painting, followed by dancing. And of course mucho alcohol courtesy to Pablo's father. See some photos of Pablo and Kyla's wedding the following week for some more neutral shots of him.
