So cool when gigs feel like adventures in themselves. It's been a busy few weeks so I thought I'd post a number of them together that all resonated with fun for me. They all flowed in and around visits with friends and hiking, cycling, and kayaking trips.
Two Honda 599's ripping around the sea to sky highway. I was craning out the back window of a small hatchback as the two riders Brandon and Marty trailed us. I put my neck out at the end of this shoot from the tight twisting I was doing. It was so worth it though.

These were from a shoot in Toronto for Combat Sports. It had me hanging from the top rung of a ladder on a reserved ice rink. Kinda thing where if I were to have fallen I wasn't sure whether to protect the camera with my body, or the other way around! It was me on the ice with 2 assistants and 5 professional players working through a whole bunch of concepts for Combat Sports new hockey stick line.

Had my first real vacation of the summer! 5 days sea kayaking around the Broken Island Group of Pacific Rim National Park off Vancouver Island with 5 friends, whales, sea lion's, and fish. So perfect you might almost forget that it rained everyday. Hard!

Fresh cod for dinner, caught right off that island in the distance.

Quick cute one of Lauryn and Andrew in their home area of dunbar. So sweet!

This awesome, hot-rod lovin, sport bike riding couple from Smithers really knew how to take Vancouver by storm for their wedding day! I'm not gonna say much other than I loved the day, the way it flowed, and the couple that brought it together. Plus as a perk I saw a huge porpoise skiffing the peer during the last shot of this post!
Here's the beautiful Kathryn floating on water. Not many brides would do this on their wedding day.
And the man himself.
The ceremony was held at http://www.thebeachhouserestaurant.ca, an incredibly stunning restaurant in a one of a kind location.
Here's his first sight of Kathryn.
Check out this ride.
And the hot bridal party.
Dancing with sparklers.
The Adam Woodall band played the night and got everybody rocking. Awesome! One of the best bands I've seen at a wedding. Check em: http://www.adamwoodallband.com
Thanks guys, you were amazing!

One of the big things that stood out to me about Val and Jonathon's wedding were the speeches about them. Each person who spoke trumpeted about their big hearts, and how caring and thoughtful they are with their friends and family. It was really touching. Val and Jonathan extended their generosity to me and my assistant as well throughout the day. Always making sure we were enjoying ourselves and keeping us fueled with incredible food. Here's some of the day through my eyes. Thanks for making me fit in so effortlessly you guys.

The ceremony was up in beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park

Luv this one

The whole bridal party at Jericho Beach. Chillin, Charging, and Attacking

And now just the ladies

And the men

And here they come

A little innocent touch and tell

And of course for Jonathan, she wasn't even in the line!
